Mumbai: Indrani Mukerjea became emotional on meeting her daughter in a Mumbai court on Monday and broke down.
As per media reports, Indrani was allowed to meet her daughter by the magistrate in the court for a brief time.
Vidhie also started crying on meeting her mother, reports said.
Indrani's lawyers had asked that Vidhie be allowed to see her mother from afar.
However, the police allowed them to meet briefly and hug each other.
Vidhie is Indrani's daughter with her former husband Sanjeev Khanna.
On the other hand, Indrani fainted in court but recovered later.
Indrani was arrested, along with her former husband Khanna and her driver Shyam Rai in the sensational Sheena Bora murder case.
During sustained interrogation here on Saturday, Indrani and Sanjeev had blamed each other for the crime, as per PTI.
Indrani accused Khanna of committing the murder and dragging her into the crime.
However, he said he only assisted Indrani as she had promised to help him financially, as per PTI.
Sheena and Mikhail are Indrani's children from an earlier marriage (before Sanjeev) or relationship, it is not exactly confirmed.
Some reports have said that they are her children from a person called Siddharth Das.
Indrani is former Star CEO Peter Mukerjea's current wife.
Meanwhile, a Mumbai Metropolitan court today extended till September 5 the police custody of all three arrested accused in the Sheena murder case to enable investigators dig deeper into the sordid saga.
Before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate SM Chandgade extended the remand of the accused - Indrani, Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai - police slapped the additional charge of attempt to murder for allegedly plotting to kill Sheena's brother Mikhail.
Section 328 IPC (causing hurt by poison) has also been slapped against Indrani after Mikhail claimed she had spiked his drink on the fateful day when Sheena was killed.
