Widespread rains in Vidarbha

Nagpur: Large parts of Vidarbha region of Maharashtra had been receiving good amount of rainfall for the past two days.
Barring Gonida almost all other districts in Vidarbha recorded rains since the onset of south west monsoon in the region.

Akola has so far recorded 178.7 mm of rain, followed by Washim (159.2), Chandrapur (156.3), Wardha (120.7), Amravati (93.3), Buldana (77), Nagpur 76.4 and Yavatmal (73), the regional met office here said.

In Nagpur district, all talukas, including Kamptee, Ramtek, Hingana, Katol, Narkhed, Saoner, Kalmeshwar, Parseoni, Mouda, Umrer, Bhiwapur and Kuhi received heavy showers.
