Woman, servant found murdered in Mumbai
When the door was broke open, Kavita Suchak was found in a pool of blood with grievous injuries, whereas servant Bagve was strangled to death.
Mumbai: A 45-year-old woman and her servant were found murdered in her flat in a residential building in suburban Juhu on Wednesday, police said.
Kavita Suchak and her male servant P Bagve were found murdered in their ground floor flat of Jayjagdish society on Road number five of Juhu, Additional Police Commissioner Vishwas Nagare Patil said.
Two servants, both hailing from Nepal and working in the house, are missing since the incident, police said, adding that they suspect it to be a case of robbery-cum-murder as some valuables were found to be stolen from the house.
"We have information that Suchak`s husband works in USA," said an officer.
According to police, Suchak`s children had returned home from school in the evening. Despite repeated knocks, the door was not opened following, which neighbours notified the police.
