Mumbai: It's official now!
The Maharashtra government on Thursday decided to rename the two important establishments of Mumbai.
Mumbai city's two important landmarks will be renamed in the near future.
The Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, commonly known as CST, which is one of Mumbai's busiest railway stations, and the Mumbai international airport, known as Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport will be renamed.
The Maharashtra cabinet on Thursday decided to rename the Mumbai international airport from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
And, CST will be renamed as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
'Maharaj' added to the existing names
The state cabinet says that Maratha warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji deserves more respect.
