New Delhi: Former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nitin Gadkari on Friday slated Aam Aadmi Party after Shanti Bhushan, senior lawyer and father of AAP leader Prashant Bhushan, allegedly accused the BJP of writing a forged article titled `Kejriwal is on course to ruin 2014 for the BJP’.

Gadkari in his statement to the media said that AAP has been involved in putting false allegations on others. He further added that within three to four months the party would lose its identity.

According to the article published in a newspaper, Bhushan blamed Arvind Kejriwal for split in Team Anna. He said Kejriwal has hidden his political ambitions under the garb of fighting an anti-corruption movement. He also said Kejriwal intentionally targeted the BJP to establish his secular credentials.

Later, editor of the national daily apologised to Bhushan for publishing an article on Aam Aadmi Party’s with his name.
