Activists condemn Hazare arrest

New Delhi: Social activists Aruna Roy and Nikhil Dey Tuesday condemned the arrest of Gandhian Anna Hazare.

"(We) condemn the refusal of permission by Delhi Police to Hazare and his team to fast peacefully," they said in a statement.

"While we disagree with some of India Against Corruption's demands, (we) support their fundamental democratic right to peacefully protest.

"We demand that the authorities immediately give permission (to them) to hold their peaceful protest without imposing unreasonable conditions."

the thing is gadhivad is not allowed in gandhi`s country by a govt. that is formed by a party who claims to be the follower of gandhian philosophy and whose high command is using the surname of “gandhi”.

anna should avoid the path of cofrantation andcreate an unrest in a stable country .talks is still the best solution with peace law is still working with out lokpal thats why big guns are injail every thing can not be done in over night if annais that much wisehe will not do any thing which provoked people to take law intheir hands which is likely to happen now it will bring the govt. at halt instead of doing work. .
