Admiral Byce named flag officer CIC of Western Naval Command

Vice-Admiral B S Byce has been named as the new flag officer Commanding-in-Chief Western Naval Command at Mumbai.

New Delhi, Feb 28: Vice-Admiral B S Byce has been named as the new flag officer Commanding-in-Chief Western Naval Command at Mumbai.
Admiral Byce, who is currently Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff, will take over today from Vice-Admiral Madanjeet Singh who retires from service.

In another appointment, Vice-Admiral A K Singh, Director General Coast Guard, has been appointed as the Commander-in-Chief of the country's sole tri-service command
at Andaman and Nicobar Island, according to an announcement by the Indian Navy here.
