Shimla: Senior BJP leader LK Advani is
likely to meet Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama on May
18 during his visit to Dharamsala for the IPL match between
Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Advani may stay at Dharamsala after the match and meet
Dalai Lama on the next day, party sources said.
The proposed meeting would take place in the backdrop
of transition of political power from the Dalai Lama to the
democratically elected government.
The Tibetan spiritual leader will not attend the
tomorrow's IPL match as was earlier announced by the state
cricket association.
