Ahead of taking oath as PM, Narendra Modi to visit Rajghat today

BJP leader Narendra Modi, who takes oath as the 15th prime minister of India later on Monday, will visit Rajghat in the morning to pay homage to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.

New Delhi: BJP leader Narendra Modi, who takes oath as the 15th prime minister of India later on Monday, will visit Rajghat in the morning to pay homage to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.

Modi, who takes oath as PM at 6 pm this evening, is expected to visit Rajghat shortly.

The swearing-in ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhawan will be attended by nearly 3,000 guests, including top leaders from SAARC countries like Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
