AI plane runs over technician at Delhi’s IGI

A technician was injured when a Mumbai-bound Air India plane ran over his legs as it was preparing for take-off at the Indira Gandhi International airport.

New Delhi: A technician was injured when a Mumbai-bound Air India plane ran over his legs as it was preparing for take-off at the Indira Gandhi International airport.

Ram Kishor, 45, an Air India employee was rushed to a hospital where his condition is stated to be serious.

Airport sources said the nose wheel of the Airbus A 321 crushed Kishor’s leg as it was being pushed back preparing for take-off.

The aircraft has been temporarily withdrawn from service. Fifty-three passengers on board the flight were shifted to another aircraft.

A probe has been ordered.
