'All Indians should unitedly fight terrorism'

New Delhi: Former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor Thursday asked all Indians to put up a united fight against terrorism and ensure that the perpetrators of Delhi High Court blast are brought to justice.

"I genuinely believe that all Indians must be united against terrorism... Let us not start dividing ourselves as to who is good and who is bad in fighting terrorism," Tharoor told PTI on the sidelines of a function at Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts here.

Apparently referring to the BJP which has accused the government of being soft on terror, Tharoor said, "This is not a political issue that one party is soft and the other is not.

We can't protect every place in this country but we can, I believe, take very effective steps against those who have committed this heinous crime and teach them a lesson."

Noting that just condemning these acts of terrorism is not enough, Tharoor said the government has to investigate and bring the perpetrators to justice and show to the world that they cannot get away after every attack.

we all are well co-operative to control terrorism, but the govt should provide tight security in supreme court, high courts in all states and other historical and main business places. my suggession is that the govt dont keep arrested terrorists in jail for many years. once prima faci has proved, they should be hanged. the unfortunate thing is the terrorists are mesmarising some people by using religion and they are also helping for this activities. some of the muslim friends are justifying that binladen has not done any mistake like that. first we should feel that we all are indians after that only the religion will come. all the religions are saying about peace and love. i dont know that why the terrorists are following this type of rude policy and they are putting bombs in musjit also. they should think and realise themselves, after that only the terrorism will come to an end.

Mr. Tharoor people of India are fighting against terrorism created by the terrorist as well as our politicians sitting in our temple called Parliament of India. Now, the people of India are united to fight against both type of terriorism.
