Ghaziabad: Over two dozen artefacts,
some of them dating back to the Mahabharata period, have been
excavated from a village near here, experts claimed.
The earthen pitchers and utensils were found in
Sadabad Jhakiva village, K K Sharma of M M College and Avnish
Tyagi of K P Degree College said.
They said the objects belong to varying periods from 1
BC to the Mahabharta period (5000 BC -6000BC).
The duo, who have been carrying out the excavations
for the last six months, said that they have informed the
Archaeological Survey of India about the find.
