Anderson escape: 'Arjun alone not responsible'

Raipur: Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj today said then Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Arjun Singh alone cannot be held responsible for letting Bhopal gas tragedy accused and former Union Carbide chief Warren Anderson out of the country.

"Arjun Singh alone cannot be held responsible for letting Anderson out of the country. The then Central Government and some senior leaders of Congress party too are responsible for it," Sushma, the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, told reporters here.

She also claimed that the UPA government was not serious about Anderson's extradition.

"Union Ministers Pranab Mukherjee and Veerappa Moily have different views on the issue. While Moily has said Anderson would be extradited, Mukherjee has justified the decision to let Anderson leave India," Sushma said.

To a query, she said the party was yet to discuss the issue of return of Uma Bharti to BJP.

you are only partially correct.a foreign national, that too a person who was charged on a crime termed as theworst industrial disaster, an on bail cannot leave inida without the permission or shall i say connivance of the country`s prime minister. it is anybody`s guewss who was that person at that time who abetted theescape of the criminal.
irequest your party to file a case inthe supreme court for a thourough
investigation by abn independant agency (not the indian cbi who is the hand maid of the congress.)
it is hightime your party should forget all the sily infighting and
function as one all india bhartahiya party inclussive od all indains of every caste creed and religion.
for get teh hinduvta and think of bharathiytha. please try to root out the corrupted politicians from every party. god save bharat.
