Anna Hazare ready for direct talks: Report

A report claims Kiran Bedi and Arvind Kejriwal are proving to be main hurdles to talks.

New Delhi: As his fast enters 10th day on Thursday, Anna Hazare is reportedly ready to talk directly to any leader from Maharashtra, including Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan.

According to reports, Anna seeks to talk to a political leader he is familiar with.

Looking for a political solution to the whole Lokpal issue, Anna, who hails from Maharashtra’s Ralegan Siddhi village, does not want to talk to any leader who is not credible.

According to a report in a TV channel, Kiran Bedi and Arvind Kejriwal are proving to be main hurdles to talks.

The channel quoted Anna’s old supporters as saying that the government has agreed to around 80 percent of the Gandhian’s demands.
