Ahmednagar: The security for social activist
Anna Hazare at his native village Ralegan Siddhi has been
stepped up.

Four sub-inspectors of police and seven constables have
been deputed for Hazare`s security, said advocate Shyam Asawa,
his associate, here.

Hazare already enjoys Z category security and had seven
policemen guarding him round-the-clock. The number has now
gone up to 11.

A metal-detector has been installed at the entrance to
the Padmavati temple in the village where Hazare is currently
staying.

Asawa claimed Hazare did not want enhanced security
cover.

Security for Hazare was reviewed following recent attacks
on his two key aides, advocate Prashant Bhushan and Arvind
Kejariwal, state DGP K Subramanyam had said yesterday.

Hazare is currently observing vow of silence (`maun
vrat`).
