The Indian, playing in his rookie year, needs a few good finishes to have a shot at finishing in top-25 to get a PGA Tour card for 2012. Indian-origin Swede golfer Daniel Chopra, however, had a superb start with a five-under 67 to be placed 10th. Chopra, who already has one win this season and needs to stay in top-25 to get back to PGA next year, had five birdies against two bogeys till the 15th. Then he had an eagle on the par-four 17th that gave him a great finish. Chopra is currently 24th on Nationwide Money List. Currently lying 87th on the Money List, Gangjee had a birdie-birdie start but a bogey on fifth set him back. When two more birdies on 12th and 15th followed, he seemed set for a good day before a disappointing bogey on the par-four 17th. BJ Staten carded a nine-under 63 to take the opening round lead ahead of Bubba Dickerson and Danny Lee, who had 64 each. PTI
