Hyderabad: Another Telugu student has been found murdered in the US. Adarsh John, a student of Texas University, was murdered by unidentified people Saturday, his relatives said.

Adarsh, who was doing MS at Texas University, was found murdered, according to information received by his family Sunday at Tandur in Ranga Reddy district, about 100 km from here.

The details including the motive behind the crime were not immediately known.

Union Minister for Urban Development S. Jaipal Reddy Sunday visited Adarsh's house in Tandur and consoled his parents.

The minister spoke to officials regarding the arrangements to bring home the body.

Adarsh is the latest victim in a series of incidents involving students and professionals from Andhra Pradesh.

In March, 28-year-old Prashanth Goinaka was shot dead by unidentified robbers at a convenience store in Oklahoma. He was studying MBA in International Technological University at California and had taken up a part-time job.

Rudraraju Sudheer Kumar, a mechanical engineer, was found murdered in his flat in Atlanta in February last year. Akshay Vishal, 26, a software engineer from Hyderabad, was shot dead by unidentified people in Little Rock in Arkansas on Jan 13.

As many as 11 Telugu students and techies were murdered in the US during last three years.

the other aspect - those of you who do stay on ! for you, it is money, money, money that is all. comparison to your neighbors- what car they drive, what price house they live in, you should have a better one, that is all. community involvement- you, your family, if at all ethnic community, for involvement that is all. do you ever think of giving back to the society you are now benefiting from? no, never. hardly .01% of you even know who your mayor, or city councilman is.
so, in such a situation, which govt. officials, law enforcement will really want to take up your cause. unless, of course, if you are willing to shell out some of your ill-gotten wealth, accumulated by trampling on hard-working americans livelihoods, towards their election campaign funds. come on people! is it not the same way to get things done in india. grease the palms? as the old saying goes, money makes the mayor go! so, give away all your money and go back where you came from, that is the ones who came here on work visas and student visas and then got them converted.

1. if you are on student visa- after graduation what do you do? go back to your country and work? no. you hang on here, displacing some us citizens taking up their jobs, all the time literally licking the managers` shoes. then you get your green-card through all the visa manipulations, that you all are so expert at. even while you are students, you are displacing local students from their jobs.

2. if you get here on work-visa - have you ever diligently thought about what is the underlying logic behind you getting the visas? you are supposed to be coming here to help americans with their work-loads, work side by side and then go back to your countries! how many of you do that? 1-3%? more often you look for ways to jump over the heads of the people you came in to help, try to get your ead, whatever that means. jump ship, get some americans displaced from their peaceful livelihoods. most of your salaries go straight to the bank because of your communal lifestyles, whereas we americans have to live paycheck-to-paycheck.

indians and for that matter, other foreigners on student and work visas - wake up! ask your conscience if what you are doing is justified. and do not tell me how much you have to pay etc. etc. that ain`t nothin! what has been happening in australia was sooner or later going to start in us and other countries. because, us citizens are being hit by a double whammy. on one side, jobs are being outsourced in tens of thousands, and on the other hand they are doling out student and work visas like crazy, to mostly unmarried young professionals who would never return back. bottom line - you are very smart, educated, intelligent, hard-working etc. etc. but be all you can be where you are, in your countries. help uplift india`s slum-dwellers, downtrodden masses, uneducated, the corrupt underworld which controls every facet of that society.

while i am very sad and totally understand adarsh`s family`s plight, i also believe that it is too early to blame the entire country. i lived close to 15 years here in the u.s and i don`t see any hate crimes here, atleast as much as the media portrays. i would wait for the police to do their job before jumping to any conclusions. i totally believe that india`s efforts at this point in time should be to push u.s for a speedy investigation and find the root cause for this.

before jumping on any conclusion, please get to the bottom of this first. we have other students also, punjabi, marathi, bengali, gujrati. why telegu folks only? i was a student in this country. i am not saying we do not have racism, but you know who are the biggest racists in usa. indians. we call the african americans kallu wheras we are not far in skin tone anyway (except katrina kaif). so to call a whole country racist is generalising. need to get the answers for sure before we go for a wild goose chase and unwarranted name-calling.
