Army chief on three-day visit to Laos

New Delhi: Looking to strengthen military
ties, Army chief Gen VK Singh on Wednesday embarked on a three-day
visit to Laos.
During his meetings with top military and political
leadership there, Singh will discuss ways of enhancing defence
cooperation between the two countries.
He will meet Laos` Chief of General Staff Brigadier
General Souvene Leualg Bounmy, Vice President Bounnhang
Vorachith and Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister
Lieutenant General Douangchay Phichith during his visit.
