Army to maintain transparency in selecting candidates

recruitment in the Army would be transparent and there would
be no chance for any irregularity, a top Army official said
on Friday.
Addressing a press conference here, Deputy Director
General, Brigader,Chennai Recruitment Zone, Pankaj Sinha said
transparency would be maintained during the selection of
candidates in the Army.

He said the selection process that commenced from
November 22 here would close on November 28.

The candidates from Srikakulam, Vizinagaram,
Visakhapatnam, West and East Godavari, Krishna district and
counterpart of union territory of Yanam would be selected for
various posts, he said.
Out of the 33,000 candidates who had applied, 7,884 have
qualified for a screening test, he added.

The army recruitment in Andhra is increasing and we are
receiving good response in the state, he said.

From next year the Army would conduct the written exam on
line, he said.
