New Delhi: Janata Dal (United) will be meeting on August 27 in the national capital to chalk out strategy for the Assembly elections scheduled to be held in Haryana, Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir.
The terms of legislative assemblies of Haryana and Maharashtra are coming to an end on October 27 and November 8 respectively.
The terms of the legislative assemblies of Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir are ending on January 3 and 19 next year.
The JD(U) under the leadership of Nitish Kumar performed very badly in the 2014 General Elections and managed to bag only two Lok Sabha seats.
