Zeenews Bureau

Chandigarh: Preliminary autopsy report of Anuradha Bali alias Fiza is inconclusive on the cause of her death, even as the police have begun probing the murder angle in the case.

A news channel reported that the post-mortem report mentions no external injury marks on Fiza’s body. Her viscera sample has been sent for examination to pin point the exact cause of her death.

A team of doctors had conducted the post-mortem yesterday night, hours after her bloated and maggot-infested body was found in her house in Sector 48, Mohali.

As per the police, the decomposed state of her body suggested that Fiza may have died 3-4 days back. She lived alone in the house after the death of her mother some months back.

The police suspect “foul play” as the door of her house was not locked. Also, a liquor bottle, cigarettes, some food items were found in the room.

As per her phone records, the last call she received was on August 1 an 6.12 pm. Investigators are going through her complete call details to identify all those she was in touch in days before her death.

As per reports, the police are questioning two of her friends with whom she was said to be close. Fiza used to go to a discotheque in the Chandigarh every Saturday with them.

She did not go this Saturday but police are verifying the CCTV camera recordings from the pub to check whether her friends had gone there.

Anuradha Bali had shot to fame in 2008 when she eloped with former Haryana deputy chief minister Chander Mohan. They converted to Islam and started to live together. But within months, Mohan dumped her and went back to his family.

Soon afterwards she slipped into depression and was undergoing psychiatric treatment, reports claimed.

She had sworn revenge on Mohan but met with a lonely and horrific end.

Suman jee, i really felt bad about the news. should not be such an end. BUT, do you really know what did chander mohan lost??? he was a deputy chief minister of a big state. request you and suggest you, kindly pls dont be partial in respect to sexuality. not because m supporting to a male character. Chander Mohan (CM) didnot gained anything. for him having company of many pretty girls was a peanut. he spoiled his carrer in politics. spoiled hisrespect and what not. may be he is renowned fig. thts why media has shown so much. every other human being has a affair and tht may be sucessful or unsuceesful so chander mohan would not have used her may be fiza would have used him....

Mr. Dheeraj whateva you replied to th previous comment may b true to an extent but whteva chandermohan did was not his ignorance..... he is nt a small kid who is told something to do something... he knew his status and he very well knew wht he is doing..... in return if he lost something ... he is completely fr that... no one can be blamed for that...... again m nt commenting in respect to any partiality to sexuality..... mistakes may be from both the sides bt that does not prove mr cm to be innocent... and so is he deserves th appropriate punishment..... no excuse can prove him innocent..... as a cm he should have thought before doing any crime.... he does deserves punishment...if not legally than from the creator of earth.. and he should not forget that no corruption exist there ,),)...

Fiza & Geetika`s stories are a lesson to those girls who thrive for fame & wealth by attaching themeselves to the politicians. Very unfortunate incidents!!!

This is familiar story. I had a relative who became second wife to Raheja, but died by suicide after some years. This is nature`s law of reprisal against woman who dares to cheat the first wife. Of course, the man is equally responsible and also be punished.
