New Delhi: The government on Friday said it was aware that elements in certain right wing Hindu outfits were allegedly involved in terror activities in the country.

"We are aware about that," Union Home Secretary Gopal K Pillai told reporters when asked about reports that elements in certain right wing Hindu outfits were allegedly involved in some bomb explosions in the country.

Pillai, however, did not specify which outfits were involved in such acts.

The CBI, which is probing into the Mecca Masjid and Ajmer blast cases, has recently said that the agency did not question any RSS functionary during the probe.

CBI Director Ashwani Kumar had said that the reports about the agency questioning RSS leaders in connection with the terror attacks in Mecca Masjid and Ajmer were not correct.

The RSS also had said its functionaries will "cooperate" with agencies probing alleged links of Hindu groups in certain bomb blast cases, but termed as "baseless" suggestions that some of its members were involved in the crimes.

no, the government is playing another shrewd game. they have put infiltrators in bjp and rss to control them. if they only could do the same with simi and naxalites.

it appears that the simi is a better organisation, their leaders do not go about defending simi, like the bjp rss and other saffron outfits.rss is a very dangerous and vicious outfit and will break the country leading it into chaos and anarchy, like the taliban and lashkar are doing for afghanistan and pakistan unless these lunatic criminals goons are stopped,india does not need enemies outside we have enough inside to do the job

indian govt. is quick to act to ban similar sikh or muslim organisations involved in blasts or terrorist activities. but can`t act against similar hindu organisations rss, shiv sena, bajrang dal etc. that are guilty of similar blsts, killing innocent people, threatening people and destroying property etc. the govt. for some reason is scared to act and ban such hindu organisations and arrest and charge their leaders for criminal terrorist activities.
