Mathura: Taking exception to the derogatory remarks made by RLD leader Amar Singh and others against its Lok Sabha candidate and Bollywood star Hema Malini, BJP on Saturday said it was planning to lodge a complaint with the Election Commission.
"It reflects the mean mentality of RLD men. We shall certainly file a complaint to election commission on it," former Uttar Pradesh minister and BJP leader Ravi Kant Garg said. The RLD leader had reportedly made derogatory remarks against Hema Malini during a public meeting in Chhata yesterday. "Due to the mean thinking of parties like SP and RLD, women`s reservation bill could not be passed in Parliament," he claimed. Stating that Mathura is known for harmony and love, Garg said, "I am sure public would counter the remark?with massive voting in favour of?Hema Malini."
