Lucknow: The BJP will hold a two-day national
convention on urban good governance here from November 19.
Party chief Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate the convention
and former minister Ananth Kumar will be the chief guest at
the valedictory session.
Around 150 delegates from urban local bodies, including
mayors and deputy mayors, will participate in the event, BJP
national secretary Bhupendra Yadav said.
All major policy issues with regard to urban governance,
enhancing the quality of life and greater participation of
people at all levels will be discussed at the meet.
