BJP wants government to review China policy
The BJP asked the govt to review its policy on China after Army Chief`s statement that around 4,000 Chinese troops were present in PoK.
New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday asked the government to review its policy on China after Army Chief General VK Singh`s statement on Oct 5 that around 4,000 Chinese troops were present in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
"General VK Singh`s statement that Chinese army is present in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir is an alarming situation," BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said. "The situation has become more serious after the recent strains between the US and Pakistan over the Haqqani terror network issue."
He added, "The government should discuss this issue with China."
