BJP will increase its political strength: Rajnath
Senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh said his party would further increase its political strength in the assembly elections to four states and the Union territory of Puducherry.
Patna: Senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh on Saturday said his party would further increase its political
strength in the assembly elections to four states and the
Union territory of Puducherry.
"Of the four states and Puducherry where elections are
held, the BJP has potential position in Assam," Singh, a
former BJP president told reporters.
"Except Assam, our party has no significant presence in
Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Puducherry," he said.
But, the trends and picture which were available so far,
Singh said "we are sure of increasing our political strength
in the four states," he said.
Lauding the efforts being made by Chief Minister Nitish
Kumar and his deputy S K Modi, the BJP leader said "the two
leaders are discharging their responsibility to the people of
the state with full vigour and strength."
The policies and programmes of the NDA government in
Bihar were now now visible at the ground level, he said,
adding there were several other states which were adopting
similar programmes and policies.
