New Delhi: Bodies of four CRPF personnel, killed in a Naxal attack in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, were on Monday brought to the national capital.

CRPF Additional Director General JC Dabas and other senior officers of the force received the bodies at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here.

The slain personnel were given the guard of honour. The bodies will be sent to their native places where a state funeral will be given to them.

CRPF Director General Vikram Srivastava accompanied the bodies to the national capital.

Eight CRPF personnel were killed on Saturday when the Naxals blew up the bullet proof vehicles in which the securitymen were travelling.

Naxalites had on April 6 carried out their deadliest attack killing 76 security personnel in Mukrana forests of Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh.
