Bomb, which did not go off in `65 war, found

A bomb, which did not explode during the 1965 Indo-Pak conflict, was found in an agriculture field in a border village here Tuesday.



Amritsar: A bomb, which did not explode during the 1965 Indo-Pak conflict, was found in an agriculture field in a border village here Tuesday.

The bomb was found by one Puran Singh while he was cultivating his land in village Bhindan Saidan, officials said.

Singh informed police who summoned a bomb disposal squad of the army which exploded the bomb after creating a deep hole in the earth, they said.
