BSF arrests IAF officer from town near Indo-Pak border in Rajasthan

The Border Security Force (BSF) has arrested an senior officer of the Indian Air Force from a town near the Indo-Pak border in Rajasthan on Monday.

Jaipur: The Border Security Force (BSF) has arrested an senior officer of the Indian Air Force from a town near the Indo-Pak border in Rajasthan on Monday.

Wing Commander Shahshank Shekhar was arrested from Anupgarh. He was currently posted at Ambala Air Force Station.

While the exact reason behind his arrest is yet to be revealed, reports added that he has been handed over to Rajasthan Police.

Importantly, the arrest in Rajasthan comes a day after an Indian Air Force jawan was arrested by the Punjab Police from Pathankot on charges of spying for Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
