International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir.
The BSF authorities on Sunday held a flag meeting with
counterpart Chinab Rangers. The body of a Pakistani intruder
was also handed over to them at Chawani Border Out Post (BOP)
in RS Pura sub-sector of Jammu district, BSF officials said.

The second meet was held between Pakistan Rangers led by
3rd Rangers unit in-charge Asgar Ali and BSF unit led by
Assistant Commandant Santosh Kumar at forward post Phadpur in
Hirnagar sub-sector of Kathua district, the officials said.
Pakistan Rangers raised the demand for allowing farmers
from their country to cultivate lands near two metres away from
zeroline, which the BSF turned down saying it comes under no
man's land and in the present state of things no permission
for cultivation would be given, they said.
BSF troops and Pakistan Rangers met last night at Mungiri
forward post in Hiranagar sub-sector after troops fired at
suspected militants and foiled an infiltration bid in the
area. The BSF lodged a strong protest with them over
infiltration bids along the border.
