New Delhi: Budget 2012-13 was "disappointing" and had nothing for women, who comprise half the population, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) MP Harsimrat Kaur said on Friday.
"This is a disappointing budget as it offers nothing for women who are half the population. Duty hike on bicycles will affect the poor," Harsimrat Kaur told.
"This budget has nothing for farmers, especially those of Punjab who are in severe debt. This budget also has not talked about skills development in youth to tackle the problem of unemployment," she said.
