Cabinet to meet on 15th Feb

New Delhi: The union cabinet will meet on Tuesday to finalise the President`s address to the joint session of parliament that marks the beginning of the budget session, an official in the Prime Minister`s Office said.

"The agenda for the meeting is finalising the president`s address", according to the official.

He said he had no knowledge about speculation in political circles that the constitution of a Joint Parliamentary Commission (JPC) to probe the 2G spectrum scam may also figure during the cabinet meeting.

Parliament`s budget session begins Feb 21.
The entire Nov 9-Dec 13, 2010 winter session of parliament was washed out with the opposition stridently demanding a JPC on the spectrum scam and the government refusing to relent.
