New Delhi: CBI on Tuesday told a Delhi court that
it has no objection to the defreezing of the two bank accounts
of Siddharth Behura, former Telecom Secretary who along with
ex-Telecom Minister A Raja is in jail in connection with 2G
Spectrum scam case.

"CBI has no objection to defreezing of two saving bank
accounts in his (Behura) and his wife`s name," senior
prosecutor Akhilesh told Special CBI Judge O P Saini.
The counsel, appearing for Behura, said that as the
bank accounts of his client have been frozen by the agency, he
had to borrow money for the treatment of his wife who is
suffering from cancer.

After hearing the brief arguments, the court reserved
its order for tomorrow on the issue and asked Behura to
provide the account numbers to it.
Behura, meanwhile, also filed an application seeking his
production in the court through video conferencing on March
31, the next date of hearing.

Behura, arrested by CBI on February 2 along with Raja and
his former personal secretary R K Chandolia, is in judicial
custody till March 31.
