New Delhi: Security agencies probing the
footprints of terror suspects David Headley and Tahawwur Rana
in India may file a chargesheet against the duo by this month-
end for allegedly waging a war against the country.
Sources in Home Ministry said the investigations against
the duo is likely to be completed by this month after which a
detailed chargesheet against them will be filed by the
National Investigation Agency (NIA).
The NIA registered a case against the two, arrested by
FBI in October on the charge of plotting terror attacks in
India, under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and for
conspiring to wage war against the country.
American born Headley and Rana, a Pakistani-Canadian,
were arrested in Chicago.
Once the chargesheet is filed against the duo, Indian
security agencies are likely to press America the access of
both for interrogation and subsequent extradition, they said.
During the investigations, NIA traced Headley's stay at
various places in India and recorded statements of several
people including Rahul Bhatt, son of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt,
staff of the hotels in Mumbai, Ajmer, Goa and Delhi.
