New Delhi: Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh on Friday made it clear that he has not sought withdrawal of his complaint to Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar alleging that MPs were lobbying for corporate houses.

"I have not changed my position. No, I have not withdrawn the letter," Ramesh told reporters while rejecting reports that he has requested Lok Sabha Ethics Committee headed by Manikrao Gavit to withdraw the complaint against MPs.

The Minister filed the complaint last December when he was the Environment Minister.

Ramesh had complained to the Presiding Officers of both Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha about alleged violation of norms by MPs approaching him with matters of companies they are running or associated with and raising issues related to projects that do not fall in their constituencies.
