"Congress has no disagreement or differences on the
fight to root out corruption. We don't have any differences on
this issue with Ramdevji or Anna saheb," Ahmed told reporters
while referring to the efforts being made by the Centre to
dissuade Ramdev from going on fast from Saturday.
He said the UPA government would take strong action
against corruption. "The government is not ready to make any
compromise on the issue."
To a question, Ahmed said the Centre had brought back
Rs 36,000 crore deposited in banks abroad.
Patna: The Congress has no differences
with Gandhian Anna Hazare and yoga guru Ramdev in the fight to
root out corruption, party spokesman Shakeel Ahmed said on Thursday.
