New Delhi: The Congress has sought a report from its Andhra Pradesh unit on a programme aired by Sakshi TV channel, owned by party MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy, which made critical comments about PM Manmohan Singh and party president Sonia Gandhi.
"The party has asked for a report from the state unit. After getting a detailed report the party will look into the matter," Congress spokesman Shakeel Ahmed said.
The programme, telecast on Friday and repeated on Saturday, blamed Gandhi for the "sorry state of affairs in the Congress" and called PM Manmohan Singh a "rubber stamp".
