Congress bolstering Hindutva: JD(U)

Patna: A key NDA ally, Friday criticised Congress for bolstering the strength of 'Hindutva' and trying to break the standing social alliance between OBCs and minorities "for garnering votes in UP assembly polls", party's national spokesman Shivanand Tiwari alleged today.

Reacting to the Centre's decision to carve out a sub-quota of 4.5 percent for minorities within the 27 percent reservation for OBCs, Tiwari described it as "unfortunate".

"What have you (the Congress) done, you don't know really... the Congress has played a role to help bolster the strength of Hindutva and demolish the social alliance between the OBCs and minorities continuing ever since BJP leader LK Advani embarked on a rath yatra on the Ayodhya issue", Tiwari said.

"We were the real forces to check the rise of Hindutva after Mandal Commission and the social alliance between the OBCs and minorities came in handy at that time to stop the forces of Hindutva from raising their ugly heads", Tiwari told a news agency.

It`s a pity that in this country one is asked, by the government, to which caste or religion one belongs. The same government which forced Indian Defense Forces to forbid any display of religion (Tilak, beard etc) is now forcing people to show their caste and religion during job/education interviews. Double standards! Divide en Rule!

WHEN SADANAND TIWARI WRITES ABOUT PROMOTION OF HINDUTVA ANTI DIVISIVE STATEMENTS THE GOVT CAN SIMPLY DO IT THE OTHER WAY ROUND AND MAKE SPECIFIC AMENDMENT TO THE PRESENT QUOTA BY REDUCING IT BY 5 % FROM OBC QUOTA AND PROVIDE 5% FOR THE MINORITY AS BEING LABELED COME ON THEY ARE AS MUCH INDIAN CITIZENS AS OBC, SC ST, CHRISTEN , SIKH, WELL NO NEED TO NAME IN THIS MANNER BUT LOOK TO THE COMMON INTEREST OF OUR COUNTRYMEN ! WHO SO VER IS IN NEED OF A HELPING HAND FELLOW COUNTRYMEN CAN AND SHOULD ALWAYS COME FORWARD AND EXTEND THE HELP REQUIRED BY OUR COUNTRYMEN !!!
