Congress rejects RSS views on madarsas

New Delhi: Congress on Friday rejected the views of RSS that madarsas encourage terrorism saying the party does not support it.

"Congress does not support it (madarsas encourage terrorism). We do not endorse it," party spokesperson Jayanthi Natarajan told reporters here.

She was replying to a query on RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat's views on the issue.

Addressing a gathering of students of Sangh-affiliated Eklavaya schools here, Bhagwat gave an example of an RSS student interacting with his teacher.

"The student tells his guru that he had not got education of violence....The education I have got and the education we are imparting is not one of committing atrocities on others. Our education is not of madarsas that it would encourage terrorism," Bhagwat quoted the student as saying.

Natarajan claimed everybody knows the origin of his (Bhagwat's) views.

"We do not endorse...It shows the attitude and mind of the person making it," she said.

If Madarsa is not teaching violence then they are not teaching to respect all the culture even and mingle up with other communities. I was talking to Cuban guy which are not from Continent but knows that Madarsa in Pakistan are responsible for his brother`s life who died in bomb attack

Bhagwat\s can say these words because he cannot educate anyone vedas or puranas ..Since only 2% of brahmins and 65 percent of dalits and others and the religion doesn`t permit to educated them with the vedas.. if they might `ve been educated about vedas they must have left the hindu religion long long ago..at least madrasas are educating the religion to everyone in the community..not pouring molten tin or hatred like the vedas or the hindu manuscripts..educate them the vedas and see the difference you asshole bagwat..if you have guts prove me wrong

This Mohan Bhagwat does not know a thing about the greatness of Madarsas in the sub-continent.The service rendered by madrasas to the country and the Muslim community is an established fact. If we start counting the invaluable services madarsas rendered, then the list will be very very long, but here I give a golden example, it is to the credit of the Deoband Madrasa that an Indian government in exile was formed in Kabul onJuly 9, 1916 after Maulana Obaidullah Sindhi was sent there on a special mission. Maharaja PratapSingh was the government`s `president` and Sheikh-ul-Hind Maulana Mehmood-ul-Hasan the `primeminister`. Maulana Barkatullah Bhopali and Maulana Obaidullah Sindhi were its ministers. I hope it will shame those who make wild baseless allegation without knowledge of the past. Go visit your nearest madarsa and interact with them for a day or a week and then you will appreciate the greatness of these institutions, dont just bark like a Mohan Bhagwat. http://www.indiaenews.com/pdf/50998.pdf

100 verses in the holy book of that community inspire violence toward other communities. And all know that the main teaching in madarsas is of the holy book. It seems only Congress does not know this.
