Congress should offer unconditional support to AAP: Hooda

Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda reiterated his stand that Congress should offer "unconditional support" to Aam Aadmi Party to form government in Delhi, as it was important for political stability.

Ambala: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Friday reiterated his stand that the Congress party should offer "unconditional support" to the Aam Aadmi Party to form government in Delhi, as it was important for political stability.
"Due to fractured mandate, there is an unstable political situation in Delhi therefore, it is his (Hooda`s) personal opinion that AAP should form the government with unconditional support of Congress," an official release stated.

The BJP won 31 seats followed by AAP 28 in the 70-member assembly. None of the two parties have a majority to form a government on their own. The Congress has eight MLAs.

On AAP`s announcement to contest Haryana assembly polls next year, Hooda said, "In a democratic set up, every political party and individual has the right to contest elections."
