Couple detained in missing explosive trucks case

A couple has been detained here in connection with the mysterious disappearance of explosives on the way to Sagar district in Madhya Pradesh from a firm based in Rajasthan`s Dholpur, police said.

Bhilwara: A couple has been detained here in
connection with the mysterious disappearance of explosives on
the way to Sagar district in Madhya Pradesh from a firm
based in Rajasthan`s Dholpur, police said.
"Shivcharan Heda and his wife Deepa Heda, who had been
absconding since forthnight was detained by a team of Bhilwara
police. The accused will be handed over here to CID-CB," Umesh
Ojha, Deputy SP Bhilwara city, said.
Dholpur-based Rajasthan Explosives and Chemicals Ltd had
supplied 163 trucks loaded with explosives for mining purpose
to Sagar and Chanderi towns in Madhya Pradesh, but none of
them reached their destination and disappeared mysteriously on
the way about a fortnight ago.

During investigation, it was revealed that several
vehicles were diverted to B M Traders and Ajay Explosives of
Bhilwara owned by the Heda couple, following which MP and
Rajasthan police started investigation but the couple managed
to flee before that.
