New Delhi: In yet another move to defame Team Anna, the Delhi Police are expected to file a complaint accusing the 74-year-old civil activist and his team for violating rules during their agitation at Ramlila Grounds.

The police are expected to file a notice in Supreme Court next week alleging that Team Anna had used the loudspeakers after 10 pm at Ramlila Grounds.

Notably, in Delhi the loud speakers are not allowed to be used after 10 at night.

Meanwhile, the police are readying audio and video tapes of the movement to strengthen its case in apex court.

The 74-year-old Hazare went on fast for 12 days at Ramlila Grounds for a strong Lokpal bill. Anna broke his 288-hour long fast after Parliament agreed in principle to accept his three demands for a strong Lokpal bill.

Team Anna members have been repeatedly targeted by the government, whether it was the Bhusahans’ CD controversy or parliamentarians issuing privilege notices to Kiran Bedi and Prashant Bhusan.

Anna’s key associate, Arvind Kejriwal, along with another Team Anna member Kumar Vishwas were issued Income Tax notices to repay their dues, the charge which both of them completely refuted.

Last month, Congress spokesman Manish Tewari had attacked Hazare on the basis of Justice PB Sawant Commission report and accused him of being involved in corruption from "head to toe".

The remarks had drawn veiled criticism from his own party people.
