Patna: Describing Congress leader Digvijay Singh as a "mild and sober politician", Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has said Singh's recent "explosive" statements have "become a subject of research for me".

"I am of the view that Digvijay Singh is a mild and sober politician... but lately Singh has started giving statements which are quite explosive in nature", Kumar told reporters onboard a cruise liner while exchanging greetings with devotees on the occasion of Chhath last evening.

Hitting back at Singh, the Chief Minister wondered whether the Congress was taking the former's outbursts "seriously".

"Digvijay Singh's recent statements and why he is making such statements have become a subject of research for me", he said.

He was reacting to Singh's statement a couple of days ago in Delhi that Nitish Kumar was "secular" but he was "in bad company (BJP) at present."

I don`t understand why Nitish Kumar wants to waste his time researching Diggy. Diggy is a gone case. Put him out to pasture. There is nothing to research.

Nitish Kumar is 100% right. Indirectly , he expressed that Digvijay Singh has lost all credibility in Indian politics. Only , on the behalf of Gandhi family , he is speaking against team Anna. Congress is most corrupt political outfit and always oppose honest people like Anna. Nitish Kumar should keep a distance with this mad man (Digvijay Singh).

The unfortunate thing is that politics is a game of benefits. As Nitish says,who has seen Digvijay Singh for a longer time,that he was sobre.The I can conclude that it is sure case mental behaviour as such earlier sobre persons normally after defeats become mental cases.
