New Delhi: BJP on Saturday hit out at Delhi Chief
Minister Sheila Dikshit for her comments against her Gujarat
counterpart Narendra Modi, saying it shows her "desperation"
to win the local civic polls.
"Dikshit`s comments show her desperation to win the MCD elections in Delhi. Instead of speaking on issues like
corruption and law and order she is trying to attack Modi,"
BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said.
Dikshit had attacked Modi and the BJP yesterday at a
public meeting in Ballimaran, saying he may be touted at the
Prime Ministerial candidate of that party but he is not
invited anywhere to campaign for it.
She further said that Modi would be stoned by the people
if he campaigned in the area.
BJP has condemned these comments from the Delhi Chief
"Dikshit has thrown the Lokayukta report indicting her
ministers into the dustbin. She has not given any answers to
questions on the corruption in Commonwealth Games and where
the siphoned off money has been stashed," Javadekar alleged.
He also charged that the law and order situation in Delhi
had worsened under Dikshit`s rule and women do not feel safe
