New Delhi: There appeared to be a disconnect
between what Air India's website and its spokesperson said on
the number of flights cancelled on Thursday today due to the ongoing
pilots strike.
The total number of cancellations according to the
website was 171 but the spokesman said it was 78 till this
evening. However, he said the figure of cancellation
could go up during the night.
When the discrepancy was pointed out to him, the
spokesperson asked the reporters not to go by the website and
depend only on the figures he was giving out.
