New Delhi, May 15: The Delhi Metro will begin its services from 4:30 am on Saturday instead of its usual time of 6:00 am to facilitate officers reach the counting centres early.

The services will start at 4:30 am, one and a half hours ahead of its usual time, at all Metro stations in the capital, a DMRC spokesman said.

The spokesman said the frequency of the trains will be 15 minutes at all stations till 06:00 am, after which trains will occupy their normal frequency for the rest of the day.

The DMRC had started its services early during the Assembly elections in November last year.

It had also offered the same service on May 7th, the day Delhi voted for its seven parliamentary seats.
