New Delhi: Eid-ul-Azha, or the Festival of
Sacrifice, will be celebrated in the national capital on
November seven.
This was announced by Imarat-e-Sharaiyah-Hind after a
meeting of Ruyat-e-Hilal Committee after sighting the moon of
Eidul Azha.
Eid-ul-Azha is celebrated across the world to commemorate
the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismail as an
act of obedience to God.
