New Delhi: Feel your work on subjects relating to different streams of technology and science deserve more credit?

If yes, send a copy of your published book to the Home Ministry to become eligible for Rajiv Gandhi National Award Scheme having a cash prize of Rs two lakh.

The department of Official Languages under the MHA has invited entries for the Rajiv Gandhi Awards Scheme for Original Book Writing on 'Gyan-Vigyan' for the year 2009-2010.

Under the scheme, books published between April 2009 and March 2010 will be considered for the honour, a Home Ministry official said.

The book should be an analytical review of the subject it deals with. However those written in the form of novels or stories and for curriculum purpose will not be considered, he said.

Those interested should send three copies of the book published by them to the department by August 20.
