New Delhi: Alleging "massive" financial irregularities in CWG spendings, BJP on Mondayasked probe agencies CVC and CAG to conduct "time-bound" and thorough
investigations into the "bunglings".
BJP National General Secretary Vijay Goel and Delhi BJP president Vijender Gupta met top officials of CVC and CAG, and submitted separate memorandum demanding thorough probe into the alleged irregularities.
"We demanded stern punishment to the guilty politicians, officers, contractors involved in the bungling," Gupta said later.
The BJP leaders also filed a complaint against the persons allegedly involved in the bunglings at the Parliament street police station.

party said the initial cost of Commonwealth Games was
estimated to be Rs 1,899 crore which increased to Rs 70,000
