Chennai: CB-CID sleuths on Wednesday arrested Lenin
Karuppan, a former aide of controversial self-styled godman
Nithyananda, in connection with a criminal case filed against
him.
Lenin's anticipatory bails had earlier been rejected by
various courts and he was absconding since then.
A close aide of Nithyananda had filed a criminal
complaint against Lenin, who blew the lid off the alleged
sleaze activities involving a film actor and the godman in
March 2010, accusing him of criminal intimidation and
threatening to release the clippings of the video.
